Ulhasnagar News: A late-night incident in Ulhasnagar has shocked the community, after what started as a minor accident left a man badly injured. It all unfolded around 9 p.m., right on a local street, and it’s got people in the area questioning their own safety and wondering why tempers seem to flare so quickly these days. Here’s what happened. Sunil Jaipal Das Dudhiya Kirkhol was almost home on his Activa scooter after visiting his sister. Just a few steps from his doorstep, he hit a plastic garbage bag left on the road. The scooter slipped.
What Happened?
Nothing unusual, really just the kind of everyday mishap that comes with city life. But things went sideways fast. As Sunil tried to get up, a neighbor named Arvind (or Anu, as people call him) walked by with his dog. Arvind suddenly accused Sunil of hitting his pet. Sunil said he didn’t even get close to the dog, but Arvind wouldn’t hear it. An argument broke out. Within seconds, it turned ugly. Arvind picked up an iron pipe and started attacking Sunil, swinging at his neck and back.
Argument Turns Violent
Some people say sticks got involved too. Sunil ended up hurt and shaken, barely able to make sense of what just happened. Afterwards, Sunil spoke about the attack: “I’d just fallen off my scooter because of some garbage on the road. I never touched his dog. Even told him there’s a CCTV camera right there. But he just kept hitting me with the pipe. I barely had time to react.” It turns out that this wasn’t the first time Arvind had confronted Sunil over the same issue. They’d argued just a few days earlier.Luckily, the whole thing was caught on CCTV.
Victim’s Account
Recalling the terrifying moments, Sunil said:
“I was just five to ten steps away from my house when my vehicle slipped because of a garbage bag. I never hit any dog. But he kept insisting that I did. Before I could even react, he started hitting me with a pipe. I even told him there’s a CCTV camera right there.”
Sunil also revealed that this was not the first time the accused had confronted him over the same issue. A similar argument had reportedly taken place a few days earlier.
Current Condition of Victim
Right now, Sunil is being treated at Ulhasnagar Central Hospital. He’s stable, but obviously shaken and dealing with both the injuries and the memory of the assault.
Police Action
Police are now looking into it with that footage. The Central Police Station opened a case based on Sunil’s complaint and what the cameras show. But Sunil found out his attacker was already released and is frustrated. He wants authorities to take these kinds of attacks more seriously. There’s a bigger problem here, though. This isn’t just about one man’s shocking experience. People see two big civic problems laid out in this story: the city’s lousy waste management, and how quick people are to explode in anger, even over misunderstandings. No one should get attacked for slipping on trash left in the streets. Now, residents are demanding more than just swift police action. They want the city to clean up its act and hopefully, prevent this kind of incident from happening to anyone else.
