Midnight Clash in Kailasnagar Leaves Three Injured; One Critical in ICU

Ambernath : Tension gripped Kailasnagar in Ambernath West after a minor dispute reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation around midnight on February 25, leaving three persons injured, one of them critically.

According to local sources, the clash stemmed from an “old argument” that resurfaced late at night. What began as a minor disagreement soon intensified when a group of nearly 30 youngsters allegedly assaulted Ajimuddin Sayyad in the Kailasnagar area.

The situation spiraled further as others attempted to intervene and approach the police.Three individuals sustained injuries in the incident Sirajul Haq Rahmani suffered a serious head fracture after being struck with a heavy object described as a “piece of floor,” likely a tile or stone slab. He was reportedly attacked while on his way to the police station. After initial treatment, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Ulhasnagar, where he remains under critical care.Mubarak Rahmani sustained head injuries after being hit with a brick during the altercation.Ajimuddin Sayyad, who was allegedly the first target, was beaten by the group before the violence escalated further.


All three victims were initially taken to Central Hospital for treatment before Sirajul Haq Rahmani was referred to a higher medical facility due to the severity of his injuries.
Allegations and Police Response
The complainants have named Kartik Gaikwad, Akash Gaikwad, Hemant Valmiki, and Roshan Sheikh among those allegedly involved in the assault. The attack reportedly involved the use of bricks and other heavy objects.A formal complaint has been lodged with the police. However, family members and local residents have expressed frustration over the lack of immediate arrests in connection with the case. They have urged authorities to take swift action against the accused to prevent further escalation of tensions in the area.

The incident has raised concerns among residents about rising youth violence and unresolved disputes turning into serious law-and-order issues. Locals are calling for increased police vigilance and prompt legal action to ensure accountability and restore a sense of security in the neighborhood.Police officials are said to be investigating the matter, and further action is expected based on the findings of the inquiry.
