Kalyan– In a shocking incident, supporters of an incarcerated gangster created chaos outside Adharwadi Jail in Kalyan, leading to the arrest of three individuals by Khadakpada police.
The incident took place on the night of March 15, 2026, when a group of supporters gathered outside Adharwadi Jail to celebrate the birthday of jailed gangster Satish alias “Satya Bhai” Kamble. Kamble has been lodged in prison for the past six years in connection with a murder case.Eyewitnesses reported that the group burst loud firecrackers near the jail premises, creating disturbance and drawing attention from authorities.
When on-duty jail constable Amol Desale attempted to stop the celebration and disperse the crowd, the situation escalated. The group allegedly abused and physically assaulted the constable, further intensifying the seriousness of the incident.
Following a complaint filed by senior jail officer Abhijit Koli, Khadakpada police launched an investigation and swiftly took action. Three individuals identified as Rohit Jagdale, Kshitij Bhagat, and Akash Khadse were arrested in connection with the incident.
In a move aimed at deterring such behavior in the future, police conducted a public parade of the accused in the local area. The action was intended to send a clear message against lawlessness and show zero tolerance towards those attempting to glorify criminal elements.
Authorities have reiterated that strict action will be taken against anyone trying to disturb public peace or intimidate officials. The incident has raised concerns about the influence of criminal figures even while behind bars and the need for vigilant law enforcement.Further investigation into the case is underway.
