A sudden fire incident at Evergreen Society in Badlapur has triggered panic among residents and sparked strong anger over safety concerns.
According to initial reports, the fire broke out in the electrical meter box area of the residential society. Thick smoke and sparks created a tense situation, forcing residents to rush out of their homes.
Local residents immediately alerted the fire brigade and electricity authorities. Emergency teams reached the spot promptly and managed to bring the fire under control before it could spread to other parts of the building.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far, but the incident caused temporary disruption in power supply and left residents shaken.
Residents of Evergreen Society expressed anger and frustration, alleging negligence in maintenance of electrical infrastructure. Many claimed that repeated complaints about faulty wiring and overloaded systems had been ignored.
The incident has once again highlighted the risks associated with poorly maintained electrical systems in residential complexes. Citizens are now demanding regular inspections, proper maintenance, and strict accountability from concerned authorities.
