Ambernath News: A disturbing incident unfolded on Friday afternoon in a busy area of Ambernath, where a young man was allegedly dragged by a biker following a minor road collision. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, raising serious concerns about road rage and public safety in the city.
How the Incident Happened
According to initial reports, the victim, identified as Prachit Dube, was pulling his bike out of a parking space near the Shiv Sena city branch office when a biker coming from the opposite direction collided with him.
What started as a minor accident quickly escalated into a heated argument. In a shocking turn, the accused biker allegedly grabbed Prachit Dube by his bike’s handle and forcefully dragged him along the road up to Shrirath Hotel.
Multiple Injuries Reported
During the dragging incident, the out-of-control bike collided with a rickshaw, causing injuries to Prachit and two other individuals. A nearby fruit vendor was also injured in the chaos, adding to the seriousness of the situation.
Eyewitnesses described the incident as terrifying, especially since it occurred in a crowded area during daytime.
Accused Flees,Police Investigation Underway
After causing the event, the accused biker fled the scene. Based on Prachit Dube’s complaint, the Shivajinagar Police Station has registered a case and launched an investigation.
Police officials are currently examining CCTV footage to identify and track down the accused. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
