Thane : An alleged incident of house trespass and intimidation has come to light from Wagle Estate in Thane, triggering concern among local residents.According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 2:30 AM on March 1, 2026, at Ratanbai Compound, Shivaji Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Shrinagar Police Station. Four to five local individuals allegedly forced their way into a man’s residence and threatened his family members.
The complainant has alleged that the group entered the house without permission and engaged in intimidation. During the confrontation, the complainant’s daughter reportedly recorded the entire incident on her mobile phone. The video is expected to play a crucial role in the ongoing investigation.Three suspects have been identified as Prashant Lanjekar, Siddesh Lanjekar, and Sagar Mokashi, while one to two other individuals remain unidentified. Authorities are verifying the identities and roles of all those allegedly involved.Following the incident, the family is said to be under significant stress and has sought police intervention for protection and legal action. Local residents have expressed concern over safety in the area, especially given the late-night timing of the alleged trespass.
Police officials from Shrinagar Police Station have acknowledged the complaint and stated that further investigation is underway. Statements are being recorded, and officials are reviewing available evidence, including the mobile video footage.
