Thane : On Monday, February 23, 2026, a female passenger was seriously injured at Thane Railway Station after falling into the gap between the platform and the Mahanagri Express. The accident occurred at approximately 1:15 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026. The passenger fell while interacting with the 22177 Mahanagri Express.Railway police and emergency services responded immediately to the scene, providing medical assistance before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.This incident has renewed concerns regarding passenger safety and the need for enhanced protective measures at railway stations.
