Kozhikode: “Eagle Man” Azeezka Feeds Hundreds of Birds Daily for 30 Years.

In a world often dominated by fast-paced living, one man from Kozhikode has quietly spent decades spreading kindness. Known as the “Eagle Man of Calicut,” Azeezka has become a symbol of compassion for his extraordinary bond with birds and stray animals.

For over 30 years, Azeezka has followed a simple yet powerful daily routine. Every afternoon around 2 PM, he cycles to Kozhikode Beach, carrying a sack filled with food usually chicken leftovers to feed stray animals.

What makes his story truly remarkable is his connection with hundreds of eagles, especially Brahminy Kites. As soon as Azeezka reaches the beach and blows his signature whistle, the sky comes alive. Eagles descend in large numbers, circling above him before swooping down to feed a breathtaking sight that reflects years of trust and care.

Apart from eagles, Azeezka also feeds stray dogs and pigeons, ensuring no creature goes hungry. His actions are not driven by fame or recognition but by a deep sense of empathy and responsibility toward living beings.

In March 2026, videos of his daily routine went viral on social media platforms, drawing attention from across the globe. His story was widely appreciated, with many praising him as a real-life hero who proves that small, consistent acts of kindness can make a big difference.
