Ulhasnagar :A shocking murder incident created panic in Ulhasnagar Camp 3 after a man was allegedly attacked by a drunk youth late at night near Barrack No. 896, in front of the house of former corporator Indira Udasi.
According to preliminary information, the accused youth, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, assaulted Mahadhu Jagtap in front of the residence in the area.The attack was so severe that Mahadhu Jagtap died on the spot, leaving local residents shocked.The deceased has been identified as Mahadho Jagtap, a resident of Shahad village in Ulhasnagar Camp 3.Sources said that Jagtap was working as a cleaner at Konark Enviro company. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly on duty at Panel No. 11 when the attack took place.
The sudden and violent incident created a huge commotion in the locality, with residents gathering at the spot soon after the attack. The shocking nature of the assault left many people in fear and disbelief.After receiving information about the incident, officers from the Ulhasnagar Police rushed to the scene.Inspector Shankar Avatade arrived at the location immediately along with the police team to take control of the situation.Police have started a detailed investigation into the case and are working to identify and apprehend the accused involved in the attack. Officials are also questioning witnesses and examining the circumstances that led to the fatal assault.
