Ulhasnagar : The details of the incident was reported at the Regency Antilia gated community in Ulhasnagar-1, where a Blinkit delivery boy allegedly assaulted a security guard. According to reports are as follows.The dispute started when the security guard allegedly stopped the delivery boy for following standard security protocols to enter the premises.This was followed by a heated argument between the delivery boy and the security guard, which escalated into physical violence.According to reports, the delivery boy also called his accomplices and assaulted the guard. No formal police case (FIR) was registered in the case till the time of the incident.The situation escalated, and as per, no official case had been registered at the time.
While this specific Ulhasnagar case is emerging, similar violent disputes between delivery agents and security personnel have been reported across India recently:
Salisbury Park, Pune (February 2026): A Blinkit delivery partner and his associates allegedly assaulted a society watchman after he asked the rider to remove his face mask for identification. The housing society filed a police complaint with CCTV evidence.
Kukatpally, Hyderabad (January 2026): A group of Blinkit workers allegedly attacked security guards at the Rainbow Vistas RVRG complex following a dispute over entry permissions. Two guards were injured, leading to a temporary suspension of Blinkit services at the complex.
