In a significant breakthrough, the Ulhasnagar Crime Branch Unit-4 has arrested two thieves involved in multiple burglary and vehicle theft cases. The police also recovered stolen goods worth ₹2.84 lakh during the operation.
According to police sources, the action was initiated after Police Hawaldar Ganesh Gawane received a tip-off about the suspects. Acting swiftly on the information, the Crime Branch team launched an operation and successfully detained the two accused.The arrested individuals have been identified as Lucksingh Thag and Krishna Sharma. Police investigations revealed that the duo was allegedly involved in several theft incidents across the Ambernath and Badlapur regions.
Following their arrest, the police were able to solve multiple burglary and vehicle theft cases linked to the accused. Authorities believe the suspects had been active in the region for some time and were responsible for several theft complaints reported by residents.During the operation, police recovered stolen property worth ₹2,84,000. The recovered items include various valuables and goods that were reportedly stolen during different theft incidents.
Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine whether the accused are connected to additional crimes in nearby areas.The Ulhasnagar Crime Branch has urged citizens to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the police to help prevent such crimes in the future.
