Ulhasnagar : A shocking incident has surfaced in Ulhasnagar, where the car belonging to Mainuddin Sheikh, the city organizer of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), was allegedly set on fire by an unidentified person. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, which is now being examined by police.
According to preliminary information, the CCTV footage reportedly shows an unknown individual wearing a burkha approaching the parked vehicle. The suspect can be seen spreading a flammable substance on the car before setting it ablaze.Within moments, the vehicle caught fire, creating panic in the surrounding area. Local residents noticed the flames and alerted authorities.
Initial findings suggest that the act was intentional, as the suspect appeared to have planned the attack by carrying a flammable liquid. The fire quickly spread across the vehicle, causing significant damage before it was brought under control.
Officers from the Ulhasnagar Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation. Police are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the act.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the incident is politically motivated or linked to a personal dispute. Officials said further details will emerge after analyzing the CCTV footage and questioning people in the area.The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to trace the accused involved in the attack.
