Stray Dog Attack in Ulhasnagar Camp 5 Leaves Two Residents Injured.

Panic spread in the Aakash Colony area of Ulhasnagar after a group of stray dogs allegedly attacked local residents, leaving two people injured.The incident took place in Aakash Colony, Camp No. 5, where a pack of stray dogs reportedly suddenly turned aggressive and attacked people in the locality. Residents described the situation as terrifying as the dogs chased individuals moving through the area.

During the attack, two residents sustained injuries after being bitten by the stray dogs. Locals quickly rushed to help the victims and ensured they received medical attention.

The incident created fear among residents of Aakash Colony, especially among children and elderly people who frequently move around the neighborhood. Many locals say stray dog attacks have become a growing concern in several parts of Ulhasnagar.Following the attack, residents have demanded that municipal authorities take immediate action to control the stray dog population and prevent similar incidents in the future.Local authorities are expected to look into the matter and take necessary steps to ensure the safety of people living in the area.

Residents have repeatedly expressed frustration with the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC), citing a lack of effective sterilization and animal management. Reports suggest that while sterilization drives are claimed to be active, the population and aggression of stray dogs remain high, with Central Hospital reporting over 400 dog bite cases monthly.
