Ulhasnagar : In Ulhasnagar, on Feb 25 a viral video has surfaced showing the Former Shiv Sena corporator’s son reportedly from the Shinde-led Shiv Sena brutally beating a citizen with a leather belt at Shantinagar area, at Ulhasnagar Camp No. 3.The video, which has widely circulated on social media, depicts an individual being severely assaulted with a belt.The assailant is identified as the son of a former municipal corporator refers to an incident involving Vikas Patil, the son of a former Shiv Sena corporator from Ambernath.The incident took place in Ulhasnagar, specifically within the jurisdiction of the Shivaji Nagar police station.A local youth was allegedly targeted due to an old dispute.The victim was reportedly beaten with a belt.The assault was so severe that it left the victim with significant injuries and visible bruising.A case was registered at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station against the corporator’s son and his associates. Senior Police Inspector Shankar Autade stated that the victim was sent for a medical examination at Central Hospital. However, the victim reportedly left the hospital without completing the process and has since gone missing, which has stalled further legal action.Police and local residents are currently searching for the victim to proceed with the investigation, amid public questions regarding the lack of more severe action against the former corporator’s son.
