Ulhasnagar : A shocking incident has come from Ulhasnagar 5, where a woman allegedly secretly recorded videos of women undergoing sonography at a hospital. The incident has raised serious concerns about patient privacy and medical ethics.According to reports, several women who visited Bhagwan Hospital for routine sonography tests were unknowingly recorded on video. The accused woman allegedly filmed the patients during the medical procedure and sent the videos to other people.The disturbing activity came to light during an inspection by officials from the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation.
During a routine inspection at the hospital’s sonography centre, Dr. Mohini Dharma reportedly noticed the young woman recording a video inside the examination room.Upon further investigation, officials discovered that the woman did not possess the required qualifications to operate a sonography machine, yet she was performing sonography procedures on patients.Following the discovery of these serious violations, the health department immediately sealed the sonography centre and cancelled its licence. Authorities also detained the woman for further investigation.
The incident has sparked serious questions about the role of the hospital management. Authorities are now investigating whether the doctors and staff at the hospital were aware of the illegal activity and why it was not reported earlier.
