Pune : This aftermath of a road accident where poorly secured iron rods being transported in a tempo pierced the windshield of a car in front. The incident occurred on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway near Kaneriwadi Phata in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.The tempo in front of the car braked suddenly. Because the iron rods were not properly secured, they slid forward and speared through the car’s front windshield.Outcome In a miraculous escape, all four people inside the car (two men and two women) managed to escape unharmed, though the front of their Maruti Ertiga was heavily damaged. The rods stopped just inches from the front passengers.The matter was resolved through on-the-spot mediation, and no formal police complaint was filed at the local police station.
