Masked Assault on Influencer Himanshu Negi at Dehradun’s Chai Sutta Bar.

Dehradun : The incident took place at approximately 9:54 PM on February 25, 2026.Dehradun police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the alleged assault on social media influencer Himanshu Negi @go_go_honeyboy.The assault occurred near the stairs of a ‘Chai Sutta Bar’ restaurant in the Clement Town area of Dehradun.Reports indicate that five masked individuals approached Negi while he was sitting near the restaurant’s stairs. They allegedly verbally abused him and then physically assaulted him, dragging him down the stairs.A video of the attack went viral on social media, showing the masked group beating the victim with belts. One individual was also seen recording the assault during the incident. According to the FIR, two of the attackers have been identified by the names Saksham and Sahil, along with 2-3 other unidentified masked youths.

Following a formal complaint by Himanshu Negi, the Clement Town police have begun investigating the matter. The attackers reportedly fled the scene after threatening to kill the victim as a crowd began to gather.
