Heater Argument At HDFC Bank Kanpur.

Kanpur : A heated argument at an HDFC Bank in Kanpur has gone viral, in which a female employee, Astha Singh, was recorded aggressively telling a customer, “I’m a Thakur, don’t mess with me” (“ठाकुर हूं, Bakchodi ना करना मेरे साथ”).  The incident occurred at the HDFC Bank Panki branch in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.A video circulating widely on social media shows the employee shouting, pointing her finger, and at one point, reportedly gesturing aggressively with a laptop toward the customer.The argument reportedly followed a customer complaint, but the exact trigger for the dispute remains unclear. Other bank staff members were present and attempted to intervene and de-escalate the situation.The incident has sparked widespread outrage online, with many condemning the employee’s unprofessional conduct and the use of caste identity in a professional setting.As of the time of reporting, HDFC Bank has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
