A two-wheeler theft has once again raised security concerns in Ulhasnagar after a motorcycle was stolen in broad daylight on March 16, 2026, in the Camp 5 area.
According to reports, the motorcycle was parked near Gandhi Road in Ulhasnagar Camp 5 when an unidentified thief targeted the vehicle. CCTV footage shows the suspect carefully surveying the surroundings before quickly stealing the bike and fleeing the spot within minutes.The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, which clearly show the thief checking the area to ensure no one was watching before committing the crime.
Following the theft, the bike owner filed a formal complaint at Ulhasnagar Police Station. Police have registered the case and launched an investigation into the matter.Authorities are currently examining the CCTV footage to identify the suspect and trace his movements after the theft. Police officials believe the footage could provide crucial clues that may help track down the accused.
Police teams are working to locate and apprehend the thief. Officers have also urged residents and shopkeepers in the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.The incident has sparked concern among residents in Ulhasnagar, with many calling for increased surveillance and patrolling to prevent vehicle thefts in busy areas of the city.
