Holi Horror in Titwala: Drunken Brawl in Housing Society, CCTV Exposes Brutal Assault.

Titwala : On March 2026 A shocking incident of violence was reported from a residential housing society in Titwala, where a dispute over public drinking escalated into a brutal assault on a society office-bearer and his family during Holi celebrations.According to preliminary information, the secretary of the housing society had advised a group of youths not to consume alcohol within the society premises. The instruction reportedly led to a heated verbal exchange between the secretary and the intoxicated individuals.Residents stated that maintaining discipline and safety within the premises was the primary concern behind the warning, especially during festive celebrations.

On the day of Holi, tensions flared up again. Three allegedly intoxicated individuals are accused of attacking the secretary’s son. When the secretary and another resident stepped in to intervene and protect him, they too were reportedly assaulted. The victims were allegedly beaten severely, causing injuries and panic within the society. The sudden violence created an atmosphere of fear among residents, particularly families and elderly members. The entire sequence of events was captured on the society’s CCTV cameras. Residents claim the footage clearly shows the accused attacking the victims, which could serve as crucial evidence in the investigation.

A case has been registered at the Titwala Police Station. However, the victims have alleged that the police have not taken adequate or swift action against the accused individuals.Local residents have demanded strict legal action to prevent such incidents from recurring. Many have expressed concern over increasing instances of alcohol-related disturbances during festivals in residential areas.

The incident has sparked a broader discussion about public drinking within housing societies and the need for stricter enforcement of rules during festival celebrations. Residents believe that clear guidelines and stronger policing could help prevent such violent confrontations in the future.Authorities are expected to review the CCTV footage and proceed with further investigation.
