Ulhasnagar : On March 2026 An alarming incident unfolded on the night of Holi at Jai Kamal Restaurant & Bar, located directly opposite the Ulhasnagar Police Station, raising fresh concerns about law and order in the area.According to reports, a youth entered the restaurant late at night and demanded cigarettes. When the owner informed him that cigarettes were not available, the situation quickly escalated.Eyewitnesses stated that the youth became aggressive and, in a fit of anger, allegedly hurled a glass bottle at the owner. The bottle struck the owner’s face, causing injuries and panic inside the establishment.
Staff members immediately intervened and pushed the youth out of the premises. However, the incident did not end there.After being removed from the restaurant, the youth reportedly began pelting stones at the establishment from outside. The attack damaged the outer counter and other parts of the property, creating chaos in the busy locality.The fact that the incident occurred directly opposite a police station has intensified public concern.Local residents expressed shock and frustration, questioning how such an act of violence could take place in such close proximity to a police station. Many have demanded stricter surveillance and quicker response mechanisms to prevent similar incidents in the future.Citizens have pointed out that festivals like Holi often witness instances of unruly behavior, particularly late at night, and have called for increased.
Authorities are expected to review CCTV footage from the area and take appropriate legal action against the accused individual.The incident has once again highlighted the need for strict enforcement and responsible celebration during festivals to ensure public safety and prevent unnecessary violence.
