Agra : A heart-stopping incident at Agra railway station has gone viral after a woman narrowly escaped a serious accident while attempting to board a moving train.
According to reports, the woman had stepped off a stationary train during its halt at the platform to fetch water for her child. Holding a water bottle in her hand, she was on the platform when the train unexpectedly began to move. Her small child was still inside the coach.
Realizing that the train was departing with her child onboard, the woman panicked and rushed toward the moving carriage in an attempt to re-board. In the chaos, she lost her balance and fell twice on the platform, creating tense moments for bystanders who feared a tragic outcome.
Despite the frightening situation, the woman quickly regained her footing and managed to board the train successfully. Fortunately, no serious injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
A video of the episode has since circulated widely on social media, prompting renewed discussions about railway safety and the dangers of boarding or alighting from moving trains. Railway authorities have repeatedly advised passengers to avoid stepping off trains during short halts and to never attempt to board once the train has started moving.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of how quickly routine situations can turn dangerous, especially in crowded railway environments.
