Parbani : A heroic rescue by Railway Protection Force (RPF) woman constable Rama Sharma at Purna Junction railway station in the Parbhani district. RPF woman constable Rama Sharma rescued a 75-year-old passenger, Mr. Baburao Ghatge, who was in danger of a fatal accident.On February 26, 2026, at approximately 07:53 pm, the 17614 Panvel Express was departing from platform No. 2. Mr. Ghatge attempted to board the moving train and became stuck in the gap between the platform and the vehicle.Seeing the danger, Constable Sharma immediately ran and dragged the elderly passenger to safety. She was assisted by another traveler, Ramesh Pandit, and others present at the scene.
