Ambernath : A Pipeline burst on Ambernath Palegaon Highway; water fountains on the road, thousands of liters of water wasted.This incident occurred near Pale village in Ambernath, Maharashtra, when a valve on the MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) DG3 main water pipeline ruptured.Ambernath-Badlapur/Dombivli highway, specifically near Pale village.The burst affected water supply to several regions, including Mahape MIDC, Navi Mumbai, Mira Bhayander, and Thane.The high pressure from the ruptured valve created dramatic water fountains reaching 10–15 feet high, leading to significant water loss on the road.The waterlogging on the highway caused traffic congestion, forcing commuters to navigate through flooded sections of the road. Repair teams from MIDC typically respond to such incidents to shut off the supply and initiate urgent restoration work.
