Raipur : A real incident where a man sparked a major fire at a petrol station in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on February 20, 2026.The event unfolded at a fuel station in the Urla area of Raipur. A young man reportedly became angry after being told not to smoke while refuelling. In a reckless response, he allegedly used a lighter to ignite a fuel nozzle, causing a sudden inferno that set a motorcycle and parts of the pump ablaze.Despite the panic, the petrol station staff acted quickly with fire extinguishers to douse the flames, preventing a catastrophic explosion.Police have since arrested two individuals in connection with the crime.The entire shocking incident was captured on the station’s CCTV cameras, and the footage has since gone viral on social media.
