A shocking incident of violence has once again raised concerns over law and order in Ulhasnagar after a 23-year-old youth was brutally attacked in the Ashele Pada area near the city. The assault, reportedly carried out by a group of individuals allegedly under the influence of cannabis, is being described as a revenge attack linked to a dispute from three years ago.
According to initial reports, the attackers targeted the young man with a clear intent to settle an old score. The incident took place in Ashele Pada, a locality near Ulhasnagar in Thane district, where the accused allegedly ambushed the victim and carried out a violent and potentially fatal assault.
Locals claim that the attackers, referred to as “ganjadyas” (cannabis addicts), have been creating nuisance in the area for some time. The latest attack has intensified fear among residents, who say such elements are becoming increasingly bold.
Following the recent spike in crime, law enforcement authorities have stepped up patrolling and launched multiple investigations. Under the supervision of Sachin Gore, police teams are actively working to identify and apprehend those involved in such attacks.In similar recent cases, suspects have been tracked down and arrested, including individuals like Shubham Patil, as police probe whether these incidents are part of organized criminal activity or personal vendettas.
The repeated occurrence of such violent incidents has created an atmosphere of fear in Ulhasnagar and surrounding areas. Residents are demanding strict action against drug abuse and anti-social elements, along with increased police presence to ensure safety.
Police have launched a detailed investigation into the Ashele Pada attack, focusing on identifying all accused and verifying the three-year-old dispute that allegedly triggered the assault.
