A shocking murder case has come to light from the Mira Road area of Mira-Bhayander, where a 40-year-old domestic worker was brutally killed inside a residential complex on March 24, 2026.
The deceased, identified as Suman, worked as a housekeeper in multiple homes within the Chandresh Accord residential complex in Kashimira. According to police sources, she was attacked with a sharp weapon inside a flat in Building No. 27.
She sustained multiple grievous injuries, including two stab wounds to the stomach, one to the chest, and one to the neck, indicating the severity of the assault.

The incident came to light after residents heard calls for an ambulance, which raised suspicion. Concerned locals promptly informed the police, leading to swift action at the scene.
Suman was found alive but in critical condition when she was brought down from the building. She was immediately taken to Gurukrupa Hospital for emergency treatment. However, despite efforts by medical staff, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
Police have launched a detailed investigation into the murder, examining all possible angles, including personal enmity and robbery. Officials are also questioning residents and reviewing CCTV footage from the परिसर to identify the आरोपी.
