A disturbing road rage incident has come to light in Pune, where a school bus driver allegedly rammed a motorcycle and then threatened the rider instead of taking responsibility. A video of the incident has since gone viral, sparking outrage and demands for strict police action.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the Pashan Baner Link Road when a school bus (MH 12 NX 9189) allegedly hit an Aprilia RS 457 from behind. The impact reportedly caused panic, though the exact extent of injuries has not been officially confirmed.
What has intensified public anger is the driver’s alleged behavior following the accident. Instead of assisting the motorcyclist, the driver reportedly used abusive language and issued a shocking threat, saying it would have been better if the rider had died and that he should have been “mowed down.”The remarks, captured in a viral video, have triggered widespread condemnation on social media.
The video has led to strong reactions from citizens, with many calling on the Pune Police to take immediate and strict action against the accused driver. Concerns have also been raised about the safety of school transport services and accountability of drivers.
Authorities are expected to examine the viral footage and identify the driver involved. Further action will likely depend on the findings of the investigation, including verification of the vehicle details and statements from those involved. The incident has once again highlighted the growing issue of road rage and irresponsible driving behavior on busy city roads.
