Ulhasnagar Murder Accused Arrested Within Hours, Court Grants 8-Day Police Custody.

In a swift breakthrough, police in Ulhasnagar have arrested the main accused in a sensational murder case reported from the Shivneri Nagar area. The accused, Shubham Patil, was apprehended within hours of the crime and has been remanded to eight days of police custody by the court.

According to police sources, the victim, Praveen Ashok Verma (27), was allegedly killed following a minor dispute. In a fit of rage, the accused reportedly struck Verma on the head with a stone, leading to his death on the spot.The brutal nature of the incident created an atmosphere of fear and tension in the Shivneri Nagar locality.

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Ulhasnagar Police Station, particularly the Sadar area. Upon receiving information, police teams immediately launched an investigation using technical inputs and local intelligence.

Within a few hours, officers successfully tracked down and arrested the accused. He was produced before the court, which granted police custody for eight days to facilitate further investigation.

During the initial probe, another name, Yatil Vad, had surfaced in connection with the case. However, police have confirmed that Shubham Patil alias Pappu is the primary accused, and the investigation is proceeding accordingly.

Police sources revealed that the deceased had prior criminal records, while the accused does not have any known past criminal history. Officials believe the murder stemmed from a personal dispute rather than any organized criminal activity.Authorities are now examining all aspects of the case, including whether any other individuals were involved or present during the incident.

The Ulhasnagar police continue to investigate the case, with officers and staff actively working to gather further evidence and ensure all angles are thoroughly examined.More details are expected to emerge as the probe progresses.
