Vangani Woman Robbed and Attacked Near Temple Police Arrest 4 Accused.

Vangani– On 23 March 2026 a shocking incident of robbery and violent assault has been reported from Vangani, where a woman was targeted by 4 unidentified attackers near a local temple.

According to initial reports, the woman was intercepted by the accused while passing through the area. The assailants snatched her mobile phone and forcibly took away her money. The situation turned more serious when the attackers allegedly assaulted her with a knife, causing injuries.

Locals rushed to the spot after the incident and provided immediate assistance to the injured woman. She was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her current condition is reported to be stable, though she sustained injuries during the attack.

The incident has created fear among residents, especially considering it occurred near a temple, a place usually considered safe and frequented by devotees.

Police have registered a case and identified the four attackers. All four accused have been arrested by Vangani Police, and further investigation is currently underway, according to police officials.

Residents have demanded increased patrolling and better security arrangements in the area to prevent such incidents in the future.
