Ulhasnagar Daylight Drug Use by Children at Ulhasnagar Station Raises Alarm.

Ulhasnagar– On 23 March 2026 a disturbing incident came to light from Ulhasnagar, where two children were allegedly seen consuming drugs in broad daylight within the premises of Ulhasnagar Railway Station. The incident, reportedly captured on video, has sparked outrage among local residents and raised serious concerns about the growing drug menace affecting minors.

According to initial information circulating locally, the footage shows the children engaging in substance use openly at the station area, a location frequented by commuters and families. The alleged incident has triggered alarm over the easy availability of drugs and lack of surveillance, especially in public spaces.

As of now, no official statement has been released by the authorities regarding the authenticity of the video or the identities of those involved. However, the visuals have intensified discussions about the vulnerability of children and the increasing exposure of minors to harmful substances.

Residents and social activists have expressed deep concern, urging immediate intervention from authorities. Many have demanded strict action against drug peddlers, increased patrolling, and better monitoring systems at public transport hubs to prevent such incidents.

The situation has also highlighted the need for awareness programs and rehabilitation support for at-risk children, who may be falling prey to substance abuse at a young age.

Authorities are expected to take cognizance of the matter soon, as citizens continue to call for swift action to curb the spread of drugs and ensure the safety of minors in the city.
